As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Payments Operations Analyst to join its Payments team. 

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning, analysis, and optimization of our payment operations. Working closely with internal teams and Payment Service Providers (PSPs), you will help guarantee that payment processes are efficient, secure, and aligned with company KPIs. This role involves daily monitoring, data reconciliation, reporting, and analysis to enhance the performance of our Casino & Betting payment products. 


YOUR ROLE 

  • Monitor Payment KPIs: Track and analyze daily payment KPIs, such as transaction success rates, processing times, and error rates. Identify irregularities and propose improvements. 
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate and present regular performance reports (weekly/monthly) that highlight trends, transaction volumes, and the impact of new releases as well as reconciliation checks. 
  • Data Analysis & Optimization: Analyze payment data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for optimizing payment operations. 
  • Incident Management: Collaborate with operational and technical/product teams, as well as PSPs, to address and resolve payment-related incidents, and report findings to stakeholders. 
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with internal teams (including Business Intelligence and Data Science) to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy. 
  • Customer Support: Assist Customer Support with Level 1 inquiries related to payments and maintain updated knowledge documentation for effective issue resolution. 
  • Process Improvement: Develop and maintain operational procedures, and implement best practices to continuously enhance the efficiency of payment operations 

Profil

YOUR PROFILE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred or Equivalent skills acquired through experience. 
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, ideally within the payments or gambling sector. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Familiarity with payment processing systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and reporting, with experience using tools like Excel, JIRA, and Confluence. 
  • Understanding of online casino and betting environments is a plus. 
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. 
  • Openly shares ideas and encourages teamwork to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable working independently in a remote setting. 
  • English: Proficiency required.
