As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Group FP&A Analyst to join its FP&A team.
As a Group FP&A Analyst, you will be in charge of monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of the Gaming1 Group, its entities and its business lines through the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
You will carry out your duties as a veritable business partner, ensuring that operational decisions are driven by value creation and the optimization of resources.
YOUR ROLE
- Measure Gaming1’s business activity (profitability and performance)
o Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic forecasts for the Group’s main companies per business area (e.g., Interactive, Retail or Corporate) AND by cost center
o Set up periodic reporting to analyze the Group’s economic performance
o Perform variance analyses based on historical data or the current year’s budget and issue recommendations based on facts and trends observed by management
o Collect recurring forecast information from various stakeholders to assess situations at the end of the year or cycle
o Provide summary or detailed analyses according to management expectations or the target sought
- Reliability of accounting and financial information
o Clarify queries from the accounting team or gaming staff regarding the recording of specific or exceptional transactions
o Assist in defining various standardized reporting templates for international companies to analyze the information they send us and facilitate comparison of this data
o Facilitate FP&A reporting within our international landbased network
o Improve, simplify and develop G1’s analytical reporting and financial performance metrics in line with best practices and the best tools available
o Ensure coordination with the accounting team in the following areas: Consolidated EBITDA, cash flow statement, IFRS, corporate finance, etc.
- Efficacy of financial or related processes
o Help streamline processes through automation or reorganization
o Manage the forecasting, budgeting and reporting cycles at Group level, ensuring alignment of procedures across the Group
o Engage in the implementation of digital reporting and forecasting tools
- Support the development of the Company and the creation of sustainable value
o Assist with auditing financial records and purchasing target activities
o Assist the FP&A Manager and business units in all ad hoc requests related to historical or future profitability analyses
o As a business partner, support operational decisions and challenge existing business models to ensure they are economically viable
o Develop business cases enhancing corporate growth and operational efficiency
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree in economics, business or management (with a focus on finance)
- At least 5 years’ proven experience in a position combining finance, accounting and consolidation
- Sound experience in a controlling or FP&A role is required
- Experience in project and change management and process optimization is required
- Very good knowledge of accounting and end-of-cycle processes
- Knowledge of BE GAAP and IFRS rules
- Experience or knowledge of corporate tax and VAT guidelines
- Proficiency in consolidation
- Sound communication and stakeholder management skills in different countries and cultures
- IT-minded and an expert in Excel
- Experience with ERP software (SAP, D365, etc.) is an asset
- Experience with BI software (SAP Business Object, Power BI, etc.) is an asset
- French (minimum C2 level) and English (minimum C1 level)
