THE SCOPE

As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Reporting Analyst to join its FP&A team.

As a Reporting Analyst, you will be in charge of monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of the Gaming1 Group, its entities and its business lines through the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.

You will carry out your duties as a veritable business partner, ensuring that operational decisions are driven by value creation and the optimization of resources.

YOUR ROLE

  • Measure Gaming1’s business activity (profitability and performance)

o   Monitor and analyze changes in direct and indirect costs for our Interactive business activities

o   Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic forecasts for the Group’s main companies

o   Draft periodic reports on the Group’s economic performance analysis for the various P&L items (casino providers, payment providers, marketing spend, fixed costs, etc.)

o   Based on analyses of discrepancies between forecasts and actual results, identify variances and propose corrective action plans

o   Provide summary or detailed analyses according to management expectations or the target sought

  •  Reliability of accounting and financial information

o   Improve, simplify and develop G1’s analytical reporting and financial performance metrics in line with best practices and the best tools available

o   Assist in the exchange and consolidation of information relating to our international activities (including monitoring joint ventures)

  •  Efficacy of financial or related processes

o   Support operational teams to ensure the financial analysis of their activities

o   Update and improve the reliability of financial reporting and cost monitoring dashboards

o   Engage in the implementation of digital reporting and forecasting tools

  •  Support the development of the Company and the creation of sustainable value

o   As a business partner, support operational decisions and challenge existing business models to ensure they are economically viable

o   Assist in developing business cases enhancing corporate growth and operational efficiency

Profil

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in economics, business or management (with a focus on finance)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar (controlling) or audit role
  • Good knowledge of accounting, end-of-cycle processes and analytical accounting models
  • Knowledge of BE GAAP and IFRS rules
  • Knowledge of corporate tax and VAT guidelines
  • IT-minded and an expert in Excel
  • Experience with ERP software (SAP, D365, etc.) is an asset
  • Experience with BI software (SAP Business Object, Power BI, etc.) is an asset
  • French (minimum C2 level) and English (minimum C1 level)
