As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Payroll Officer to join its HR department. 

As Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing our payroll processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our headquarter employees while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Payroll & Operations Manager and based in our hub in Liège, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Process and manage the payroll for around 420 employees accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with Belgium payroll tax regulations
  • Review and reconcile payroll data, making corrections as needed
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations
  • Manage relations with external service providers (ONSS, Interim, social secretariat, …)
  • Provide support to our Business Partner and Recruitment team on request
  • Accompany our Payroll & Operations Manager on various topics

Profil

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor or Master in HR or similar
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in payroll software (ideally SD Worx) and MS Excel
  • Excellent understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong English knowledge
  • Curious and autonomous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Sense of service & team spirit
